Mapfre BHD Compañía de Seguros, S.A. ranks among the top five insurance companies in the Dominican Republic in terms of market share and is jointly owned by Grupo BHD and Mapfre. Grupo BHD is one of the most prominent financial holding companies in the Dominican Republic and owns Banco BHD, the third largest commercial bank in the country.

Known for providing a high level of service, ARS Palic Salud makes available extended service hours so that customers can obtain information on issues related to their health coverage including hospitalization, outpatient medical care, and claims.
