Fortis Employee Benefits, the group division of Fortis AG, offers a full range of life, disability, and pension products and is known for its proactive client information and services. Fortis Employee Benefits insures 23.6% of Belgium's private group insurance market and 60% of the international companies in Belgium.

Fortis Insurance Belgium is the largest insurer in the combined individual and group insurance market in Belgium and has total written premiums in both markets of EUR 3.11 billion (USD 3.70 billion) of which EUR 0.80 billion (USD 0.95 billion) is comprised of employee benefits. Fortis Insurance Belgium is also the largest private real estate investor in Belgium and, together with Fortis ASR, co-founded Fortis, an international group of more than 200 companies operating in the fields of banking, insurance, and investments.
