Aviva entered the Singapore market in July 2001 through the acquisition of the former Insurance Corporation of Singapore. Since then, Aviva has grown from the sixth to the third largest provider of long-term regular savings products. With a market share of more than 30 percent, Aviva is the leading provider of employee benefits and healthcare insurance in Singapore and provides protection to approximately 600,000 employees.
